The owner and founder of Intel – Sec d.o.o is Dubravko Derk from Zagreb, Croatia, who is also a procurator of the company. He is a lawyer and criminalist with a degree in legal sciences. He also graduated at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.

He has attended several domestic and foreign seminars and consultations in the field of public and national security, large systems management, media relations, criminal law, private security, internal investigations etc.

The owner and founder of Intel – Sec d.o.o Dubravko Derk is a doctor of legal sciences, lawyer by profession, professor and criminalist, who is also the procurator of the company. He is a long-time employee of a public, national and private or corporate security system where he has performed the great number of duties and functions. The start of his 35-year successful career is related to the work of a criminal investigator, where he ended a multi-year career in the post of chief of police administration. A new challenge for him was the national security system, where he progressed to the level of Assistant Head of the Office of the National Security Council of the Republic of Croatia. Finally, he completed his career as Assistant President of the Zagreb Holding Company’s Corporate Security Directorate. Successful work by Intel – Sec d.o.o. represents a new professional and business challenge for him with the aim of raising overall quality of work and business in the area that is now the core business of this company.

Dubravko Derk, as an author and co-author has more than thirty published and featured scientific papers published in domestic and foreign scientific journals and works exhibited at relevant, mostly international scientific conferences. He has also been selected as a scientific assistant professor and as a guest lecturer at faculties and professional conferences, seminars and consultations in the Republic of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.

He is also a collaborator of a specialized security portal World of Security (www.svijetsigurnosti.com).

Dubravko Derk has rich and valuable practical experience in managing small and large systems with special acceptance of the fact of practical work and competences in all four areas of security system and in this sense understanding the need for synergistic actions in the protection of both national interests and business interests of companies that are in the domestic example of economic and social correlations often in a causal relationship.

Theoretical knowledge gained during his lifelong education and training, available management capacities, experience in crisis management situations, rapid recognition of threats and threats, focus on eliminating them, preferring team and specialist work, and networks of competent associates from Croatia and abroad guarantee the successful work of our company to the satisfaction of our existing and future clients.

Dubravko Derk carries the rank of Chief Police Advisor and Colonel of Armed Forces of Croatia in peace. For his work he was awarded with eight high state honors.
